About Us
Betting Not On Gamstop is an independent research site for adults in Great Britain who want to understand betting sites not on GamStop before they open an account. We review the offers, explain the terms and point out the risks. We also give particular weight to payouts, because how quickly and reliably a bookmaker pays out is often what readers care about most.
This page explains who we write for, how we assess operators, how the site is funded and where our knowledge stops. Our last fact-check of the listings was on 1 October 2026.
How we are funded, and what that does not change
Betting Not On Gamstop may earn a commission if you sign up with a bookmaker we list. That is how the site pays for its research. Commission does not buy position: rankings rest on our editorial assessment of terms, payments and the information we could verify, not on what an operator pays us.
The ratings you see beside each listing are editorial ratings. They are not customer-review scores and they do not predict your experience. No author or named reviewer is credited on this site.
What we cover
- Bookmaker features: markets, bet types, live in-play betting, early cash-out and mobile betting apps.
- Odds and bets: how fractional odds work, each-way betting, 1x2, over/under, both teams to score, bet builders and accumulators.
- Bonuses: welcome bonuses, deposit bonuses, free bets, price boosts, cashback and loyalty rewards, and the conditions attached to each.
- Money: deposits, withdrawal processing times, limits, fees and currency conversion.
- Protections: identity checks, complaints procedures, and the tools that help you stay in control.
Our casino coverage sits on a separate page: see our review of non GamStop casinos.
Why payout speed leads our research
A big bonus means little if getting your own money back is slow or difficult. When we research a bookmaker, we look for the following:
- Stated withdrawal processing times, and whether they are the operator's own claims or independently confirmed.
- Withdrawal limits per transaction, week or month.
- Which payment methods can be used to withdraw, and whether they match the method used to deposit.
- Fees and currency conversion, especially where an account is not held in pounds sterling.
- What identity and source-of-funds checks may be required before the first payout.
- How disputes are handled and who you can escalate to.
We have not placed bets, deposited or withdrawn with any of these sites. Speeds quoted on bookmaker pages are advertising, and we describe them that way. Where something cannot be confirmed, we say so.
How we assess the operators we list
Each listing is reviewed against the same set of checks:
- Licensing information: which regulator or licence the operator states, and whether we could verify it.
- Bonus terms: wagering requirements, minimum qualifying odds, maximum bonus bets, expiry dates and cashout limits.
- Payments: available methods for British customers, minimum deposits and fees.
- Sports range: football, horse racing, tennis, golf, darts, snooker, cricket, esports and more.
- Support and complaints: contact options and any published complaints route.
- Safer gambling tools: deposit and loss limits, self-exclusion and account controls.
The operators on our list
The current top ten, in editorial rating order, are Tenobet, smash, Betninja, CoinPoker, WinnerIsland, Gambiva, Gamble Gorilla, BetBluff, Rolletto and 7abet. Full offer details appear in the ranked cards on our pages. A few notes on how to read them:
| Operator | Advertised headline offer | Currency shown |
|---|---|---|
| Tenobet | Sports package: 300% up to €3,000 | Euro |
| smash | 250% up to €5,000 | Euro |
| Betninja | €1,000 + 100 Free Spins | Euro |
| CoinPoker | 150% up to $2,000 | US dollar |
| WinnerIsland | Up to 55% on Acca with Multiboost | Percentage boost |
| Gambiva | 300% up to €3,500 | Euro |
| Gamble Gorilla | Welcome Sports Bonus 100% up to £100 with £20 deposit | Pound sterling |
| BetBluff | Welcome Sports Offer 100% up to £150 | Pound sterling |
| Rolletto | Welcome Sports Bonus 150% + 200 Free Bet | Not specified |
| 7abet | Welcome Bonus of 300% up to £200 | Pound sterling |
These are the operators' advertised offers. Always read the full terms before you deposit. Where an offer is in euros or dollars, you may face currency conversion on deposits and withdrawals. We have not confirmed whether each site offers a GBP account.
A bonus is not free money. Most require a qualifying deposit, and winnings from bonus funds are usually subject to wagering requirements, time limits and a cap on what you can cash out. The headline figure tells you little until you have read those conditions.
Our view on the top-ranked sites
Tenobet
Tenobet is ranked first on editorial rating, with an advertised sports package of 300% up to €3,000. Its bonus is large, but a larger bonus usually comes with a larger wagering commitment. The offer is in euros, so a British customer should check for conversion charges and whether the bonus conditions affect withdrawals. We could not confirm its payout speeds independently.
smash
smash is ranked second with 250% up to €5,000, the highest advertised cap in our top ten. The size of the cap matters only if you deposit enough to reach it, and doing so raises the amount you must wager before cashing out. As with Tenobet, the euro denomination is a limitation for sterling users.
Betninja
Betninja advertises €1,000 plus 100 free spins. The spins relate to casino-style play rather than sports betting, so the offer may suit those who want both products less than those who want a pure sportsbook bonus. Free spins often come with their own wagering terms, which you should read in full.
Where we stand on GamStop and UK regulation
GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme for online gambling in Great Britain. Operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission must take part in it. Sites that are not on GamStop hold licences elsewhere and fall outside that scheme. This means they are not covered by UK Gambling Commission rules, and the protections available to you are different.
A site accepting British customers does not mean it is authorised to serve them under British law. Check the licence, check who owns the operator, and understand that complaints about an overseas licensee may not be heard by UK bodies. We state what we have verified and flag what we have not.
If you have registered with GamStop, that decision was made to protect you. We do not encourage anyone to use non GamStop sites to get around a self-exclusion. If you are unsure whether betting is still good for you, please read our responsible gambling page first.
Safer gambling and where to get help
Betting should be paid-for entertainment. It is not a source of income and not a way to solve money worries. Use deposit and loss limits where a site provides them, and consider gambling blocking software if you need extra barriers. If gambling is causing harm, GamCare runs the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, and BeGambleAware offers advice and information. Both are free and confidential. You must be 18 or over to bet.
What we cannot tell you
- We cannot guarantee that any site will pay out, or that any payment will arrive in a set time.
- We cannot say that a site is completely safe. No bookmaker is.
- We cannot confirm that every feature, payment method or bonus is available to you. Terms change, so check the operator's own pages and your own account.
